Current leading dancehall artiste and president of the Shatta Movemets, Charles Nii Armah Mensah aka Shatta Wale cried on stage a just ended 3Music Awards.
A photo trending on social media clearly shows the hardcore artiste shedding some tears of joy.
Shatta Wale surprised the whole nation early Sunday morning after it emerged that he bagged 8 major awards out of 11 Nominations. Shatta won at a point where many were saying his career was dying out.
Despite winning big, his critics and rivals ain’t giving him a breathing space as many have started labelling the Award scheme as biased.
Blakk Cedi who doubles as the Manager of Stonebwoy also joined the long list to troll 3 Music Awards.
Shatta however reacted and stated that his critics never liked him and that they will hate him more.
He added that he won the awards based on hard work and that there was nothing like favoritism and corruption in the process. As it stands now, Stonebwoy and Shatta will be battling the more at the incoming VGMAs.
