Ghanaian Dancehall artiste, Samini believes colleague Shatta Wale’s meeting with the President, His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has bridged the gap between the entertainment industry and the government.

The ‘My Own‘ act shared his opinion a day after Wale visited Prez. Akufo-Addo at the FlagStaff House, the official resident of the President.

 thanks for bridging the gap between entertainment and  that doors are open” reads the message by Samini posted on Micro blogging site, Twitter, He also requested for a meeting on December 22, which is his birthday.

Dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale on Wednesday Afternoon honoured President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo’s invitation to visit him at the FlagStaff House.

On October 17, Wale’s birthday, Prez. Akufo-Addo wished him well and extended an invitation to the Dancehall artiste to visit him (Prez.) at the official residence of the president.

“Happy birthday @shattawalegh! You for come visit me for Flagstaff House o!” read a Tweet by the President. 

Present at the meeting were Kwabena Anokye-Adisi (Bola Ray), Chief Executive Officer of EIB Network, and Samira Bawumia, wife of the Vice-President, Mahamodou Bawumia.
