Jaypee Set To Release His First Mixtape Of The Year

James Paulinus Johnson Jnr, known in the music circle as Jaypee (aka Kaykronic), is a Hip-Hop, Afro-pop, and R&B artist born in Cape Coast, the Central part of Ghana.

Music has always been a thing of his family; his grandfather is a gospel musician and composer. But his love for writing and recording music stemmed from watching his big cousin who was more than a brother to him pursue a career in music  abroad.

Jaypee started recording his own songs in Secondary School at a time where he also enjoyed playing basketball. Despite his many talents, he remains unsigned and is still on label hunt.

His talents of effectively blending lyrics in English with the local Ghanaian dialects to create catchy melodies is evident in his  next mixtape single titled “Baby” which is a cover of R2bees ft Wizkid – ‘Tonight‘, scheduled to drop on Vals Day this year.
