Playstation Plus Free Games For May 2020 Revealed

If you’ve taken to spending the current lockdown immersing yourself in fictional worlds or alternate universes, then this month’s PlayStation Plus free game offer might be what you’re after.

Although PlayStation hasn’t delivered the rumored goods of Dying Light or Dark Soul Remastered, it is offering subscribers the chance to live their life vicariously through two relaxing simulation titles.

Giving us the escapism we need while existing in a global pandemic, May’s PlayStation Plus line-up features the games Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 19.

So, if you fancy building your own city or owning your own (virtual) farm complete with livestock and crops, you’re in luck. Animal Crossing: New Horizons, who?

For your chance to snap up Cities: Skylines and the latest edition of Farming Simulator for the price of absolutely nothing, you’ll have to become a PlayStation Plus member first.

A year-long membership is typically £49.99 – but, fortunately, there are a bunch of different subscriptions available, including 12-month, three-month, and one-month options, and a lot of deals to be found.

ShopTo is currently offering a three-month subscription for £16.85, and for those who want as little commitment as possible, this one-month subscription to PlayStation Plus is just £6.85.

Meanwhile, in other PlayStation news, Sony recently confirmed that it had identified the “primary individuals” responsible for the recent Last of Us Part II leak.

In a statement, Sony confirmed an investigation was ongoing. “We’re looking forward to when The Last of Us Part II will be in your hands and can’t wait for you to enjoy the full experience on June 19,” the company added.

Cities: Skylines and Farming Simulator 19 are available to download from Tuesday, May 5 until Monday, June 1.
