I Have Paved The Way For Future Dancehall Artistes – Stonebwoy

International Reggae/Dancehall act, Stonebwoy says he has paved the way for fellow and upcoming Ghanaian dancehall artistes who want to go international with the reggae genre.

Speaking on Daybreak Hitz on Hitz FM, Monday, July 23, Stonebwoy made it known that through his recent world tour the world has come to recognize Ghana-made reggae/dancehall.

“To be able to come far and getting endorsed by this people is a combination of everything. The work will speak for itself. They will not work with you because of the money. It goes beyond the connection and links. I am grateful that I have proved myself worthy of support which brings glory and paves way for the future artists…”

“Before people had a wrong idea of what reggae was, but now I think people will be happy and do music regardless of the genre…”

He added that this exposure he has received goes a long way to give other dancehall artistes hope.

Stonebwoy who is currently on his Europe Tour had a spectacular performance earlier this month in Germany where he played at Summerjam main stage in Fühlinger See in Cologne. He played other concerts in Switzerland and Netherlands respectively, as part of his “Epistles Of Mama World Tour”.

Stonebwoy made history last Friday, in Jamaica as the first Ghanaian Musician to rock the Reggae Sumfest stage in Montego Bay.

He was also the only Ghanaian to be billed for the 2018 “ReggaeSumfest” which took place in Jamaica.
