Ghanaian acts like Shatta Wale, Sarkodie, Medikal, Stonebwoy, King Promise, DJ Mic Smith, Wendy Shay, and others have been nominated.

While all these musicians are competing for very prestigious awards, Shatta Movement boss, Shatta Wale finds himself in the ultimate category.

Shatta Wale is battling it out with BurnaBoy (NG), Davido (NG), Diamond Platnumz (TZ), ShoMadjozi (SA), Tiwa Savage (NG), Wizkid (NG), and Yemi Alade (NG) for the African Artiste Of The Year.
