The emergence of fresh talents in the Ghanaian music scene from the Central Region in recent times is undeniably massive. The region has got a quite number of intelligent rappers, energetic dancehall acts and soothing voiced singers.
Ace beat maker and a former manager of rapper TeePhlow (from Cape Coast) seems to have a soft spot for the region’s music. After managing rapper TeePhlow for four uninterrupted years, he has come out publicly to endorse another son of the soil, Boggy Wenzday, a fast rising Ghanaian singer. In a Facebook post, Da Hammer made it known the ‘Package’ crooner is one of the best male vocalists in Ghana so far. He described how Boggy Wenzday reminds him of former half of the hi-life group Wutah, Afriyie.
Boggy Wenzday is a Cape Coast based singer with many hit singles to his credit: Package, Naawula etc. and has couple of works with TeePhlow, Kahpun, Luther, Adane Best just to name a few. His recent release ‘Nobody But Me‘, an inspirational hi-life song though in its early stage of release is enjoying a massive airplay.
Da Hammer is widely known for unearthening talents aside making great beats. Are we in for a new Last 2 soldier?
