Be Part Of TeePhlow’s PhlowAddicts Not Drug Addicts – Central Regional Minister

“Give honour to whom it’s due”, and that’s exactly what rapper TeePhlow, born Lukeman Baidoo did with the help of his manager and record label, Spyderlee Entertainment.

Throwing back a little, it was an awesome sight when he was presented the Record Of The Year Award at the prestigious Vodafone Ghana Music Awards. And being the first Cape Coast musician to whip such an award, he opted for a 3-day ‘Thank You’ tour (19th-21st April) to recognize and appreciate the hard work of his fans in and beyond Cape Coast and everyone who has contributed to the success of his music carrier since its commencement.

The Day 1 of the tour was marked with a presentation the Record Of The Year Award to the Paramount Chief, Osabarima Kwesi Attah II, and members of Oguaa Traditional Council as the custodians of the Traditional Area. He ended the day’s activities with a visit to the offices of the Central Regional Minister, Mr. Duncan, where he was received with the warmest reception. The Regional Minister brought a speech he had for the gathering to a closure, stressing, “You should all be PhlowAddicts, and not drug addicts.”

The Record Of The Year holder joined the Nananom of Cape Coast to launch this year’s Fetu Afahye for the Day 2 of his tour. He had the privilege of being the guest speaker at the event which took place at Ato Austin Gardens in Cape Coast, and used the platform to appeal to the Chiefs and people of Cape Coast to solidly support any talent that erupts from the Area. He again urged the youth to refrain from any form of barrier to their education.

Day 3 of the ‘Thank You’ tour was a brass band-and-sound system-accompanied float dubbed TeePhloat, which started from the Robert Mensah Sports Stadium through the principal streets of Cape Coast to Victoria Park. The unending crowd sang and performed his songs from Bredda to Preach; a moment which gave goosebumps.
The 3-day tour was crowned with a night of socialization and relaxation at the Presidential Palace inside Samrit Hotel, Cape Coast, hosted by CEO of Phylx Entertainment Akakpo and Trigger Biney.

To the sponsors, fans and all, TeamPhlow says a very big ‘Thank You’ to you. Expect more fireworks and awards in the coming years. And to every other artiste making Cape Coast proud, keep up the good work.
