Wendy Shay & Afia Schwarzenegger blasts FDA over ban on Ghanaian celebs not to advertise for alcoholic brands

Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has placed a ban on Ghanaian Celebrities from endorsing locally made alcoholic drinks.

According to them, this is to protect the young ones who idolize you from the abuse of alcohol.

It seems Wendy Shay and Afia Schwarzenegger are both not happy and has publicly voiced out their displeasure.

Days ago, Wendy Shay met with the authorities of the FDA but it seems their meeting wasn’t fruitful.

She has taken to Twitter to order the Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) to lift their ban on celebrities endorsing Alcoholic products immediately

She wrote;

“FDA LIFT DAT BAN !!! You are taking food from our mouth !!!”

Afia Schwarzenegger on her part fired the FDA members labeling them as dumb in the process.

According to her, no celebrity-endorsed Tramadol but it was one of the widely patronized illegal drugs among the youths of Ghana.

Afia Schwarzenegger ordered the FDA to reconsider their ban or face her wrath.
